Every day it seems like Nyla's vocabulary is growing faster than we can keep up. She is curious about everything and now asks, "that's that's that's?" every .5 seconds while riding in the car or when she sees an unknown person. Her new favorite phrases are "fix something" as she takes off with toy screwdriver in hand or, "I bought some eggs" as she pushes her stroller around with various objects in it (and then will offer you a bite).
She has also really developed her ability to give orders. During dinner she may point to any given person and order, "drink da wawa," or tell you to sit on the floor and then point out the exact location you are to sit. When you walk into our house don't expect a warm, "hello" from Miss LaLa. She will instead point at you and order, "Jacket off. Shoes off."
Auntie Sara sent a gift from San Diego this month. It was a little confusing for Nyla due to the fact that her cat is named Marlie. So now she says, "Bob shirt. Marlie!" when ever she fondly recalls the gift.
In addition to being a picture of Nyla's new shirt, this one also documents some other not-so-fun events this month; a bad haircut and her new reaction to dairy (the rash on her cheeks).

With warmer weather, we have been getting out for walks more. Nyla doesn't like to travel without her posse.
Fun times with Dada and a glass bowl. Believe it or not, this little scene was accompanied by squeals of laughter (from Nyla that is).
